Bollywood music industry mourns Labh Janjua's demise

Pritam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Salim Vendor, Benny Dayal and others from the Bollywood music crew have communicated melancholy over the inopportune destruction of Punjabi artist Labh Janjua, who was known for his hit melodies 'London Thumakda' and 'Jee Karda'.

Janjua was discovered dead at his home here today, as indicated by police.

The artist kicked the bucket at his habitation in rural Goregaon, Extra Chief of Police (north area) Fatehsingh Patil said.

Pritam, who teamed up with Janjua on tunes from movies like Singh Is Kinng, Pyaar Ke Symptoms and Haal-e-Dil, tweeted, "Tear Labh Janjua. Can't trust I need to keep in touch with this. Can't handle the news. Rest in peace my companion. My Supplications are with his friends and family."

"I am to a great degree crushed to know this. He was such an awesome performer," Benny told PTI.

Ashvini Yardi, the maker of Akshay Kumar-starrer Singh Is Bliing, for which Janjua record a tune, 'Dil Kare Chu Che', tweeted, "Just got the stunning news that our 'dil kare chu che' artist is no more... Tear Labh Janjua."

"Shockingly sudden passing of Labh Janjua.. Truly tragic," tweeted Sunidhi, who sang with Janjua the well known track 'Move Pe Chance' from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

She posted, "Punjabi artist #LabhJanjua no more!! Truly stunning news! Life can be so eccentric.
